Unity not Coexist

Day 10 of 21 days of prayer and fasting.  What will you commit to fast today so as to focus on crying out to God for the spiritual broken condition of our nation?  Everyone is keenly aware of the lack of unity in Washington these days but I wonder how keenly aware we are of the lack of unity in many churches.  The church for the first few decades of our American culture was the backbone and center of community action.  Then false teaching and bickering amounst the church members began to split churches, communities and families.  It is time unity returned.  Let me make it very clear there is a huge difference between biblical unity and the absolute godless fade coexist that is sweeping the religious community.  Listen to the words of scripture.
Ephesians 4:1-6
I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Don't miss the fact that in order for unity to abound we must all adhere to one way.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
We must be Christocentric in all we do for unity to bind us together.  Are you for your way or Gods way.  The national spiritual crisis we are currently entangled in would easily be defused with a good dose of unity.  It would certainly solve the Washington crisis!
