Giving Away The Children
Today saws the first day of school for many students and Facebook was replete was parents lamenting, sending the children off for the day. Read Hannah's story (I Samuel 1) She honored her vow to the Lord, weaned Samuel and took him to the temple and gave him to the priest to raise, for the rest of his life. Talk about a tough walk to the "bus stop". The best thing we can do with our children is place them in the hands of God for Him to do as He pleases.

For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted my petition made to Him. Therefore I have given him to the Lord; as long as he lives he is given to the Lord. And they worshiped the Lord there.
